AL FRESCO AT THE CASTLE
This gorgeous editorial is all about the details - from the rustic architecture of a historic castle, lavish tablescape to the rich textures and fresh florals. We are in awe of this luxurious al fresco styled shoot.
Words by Narelle of Narelle Janine Events:
Inspired by nature and it's beauty, architecture of old french countryside homes and elements of luxury we conceptualized a whimsical and romantic space. We visually infused loose jewels, rustic gold bells, victorian white textures and lots of dusty blue into the elements of this shoot. An event is evanescent - they are here for a moment and those moments quickly turn into memories. When planning & designing any event, it is so important to add personal touches that reflect you as a couple and also resonate with your guests and tap into all their senses.
We wanted an al fresco dining experience in front of a luxurious castle location, with the soundtrack of birds chirping and breeze blowing in the background. We created an enthralling ceremony space inspired by nature - as if the flower forage grew from the ground and was embodying the bride. We added caramel, baby blue and victorian white colour and lots of green to this floral design to bring this look to life. The tablescape is inspired by the french countryside homes, with vintage pattern plates, velvet linens and lots of vintage gold elements. A statement yet simple dress for the beautiful bride, we wanted delicate lace and sheer elements in this dress. Tying in nature again the bride accessorized with a delicate headpiece with baby blue butterflies and a vintage hat to tie the look together. Inspired by my favorite vintage j crew jeans, I created a seating chart with various sized swarovski crystals and rustic bells that were brought in from jaipur india tied with white silk ribbons for guests to take home and we wanted guests to ring the bells while the bride and groom walked down the aisle - we wanted to add personal details for guests to be interactive with each other (socially distanced of course!)
With such a world wind of a year, we want couples to know that no matter the size of your guestlist, you can have the wedding of your dreams. You can add more personal touches and design elements to your wedding that can take place anywhere you want. Love will always conquer all!
