BRIDAL BY THE COUNTRYSIDE
We are swoon over these gorgeous sunset aesthetic styled bridal portraits by Tanya Canam Photography.

It's springtime in Canada. Blossoms are blooming, birds and chirping and the sun is shining - finally! While we love all things wedding in all of the seasons, Spring is hands down our favourite. There's a certain charm about it, and with Spring being the symbol of growth and new beginnings, it's perfectly fit for a wedding! Bridal Portraits are also a resounding favourite of ours and equally as underrated. Classically, the term "bridal portraits" refers to a stylized session where the couple are photographed in their wedding attire on a day separate from their wedding, often before but sometime after. Bridal Portraits (although definitely due for an updated title) are extremely popular in the southern states and as far as we know, not as common in Canada (yet!)
This gorgeous session by Tanya Canam is a Nova Scotian take on the tradition. The surrounding trees and sunlight serve as strong supporting roles in this editorial and we're getting major springtime cottage-core vibes!
