Meg & CJ opted to host an intimate wedding ceremony, where they exchanged vows in a Nova Scotian vineyard on a warm August day. The bride calls it her "mini-matrimony", a surprise upgrade from their original dinner plans orchestrated by their planner, Graceful Weddings and their florist, Flourish Floral Designs.
This gorgeous day was captured perfectly by Meg and CJ's photographer, Terri-lynn Warren Photography. Aren't they just the most adorable pair?! Meg and CJ still plan on having the full scale wedding day they had originally planned before the restrictions of the pandemic prevented them from doing so. Their original date of August 8th was special to the couple, so they decided to celebrate with a dinner at their wedding venue, which turned into a special micro-wedding brought together by their incredible wedding vendors. "It gave us a more intimate ceremony and we really got to soak in the day with our parents" Meg explains. "I also really like the idea of having no pressure for our larger ceremony (whenever that will be haha) and now we can just really enjoy that day."
"Having the legal stuff done and complete is so nice. It feels like we can move forward with our life goals and just add those additional accomplishments onto our larger celebration, when we are allowed to host one." Meg and CJ were surrounded by so much love on their special day, and feel they might've missed some of that if they postponed and waited for another date in the future.
A huge congratulations to Meg and CJ for tying the knot! Special thanks to Lisa of Flourish Floral Designs for sharing this love story with us.
