WOULD-BE WEDDING DAY
Like many Canadian couples, Livi and Dan's wedding day was postponed due to the pandemic. On the day of their would've-been wedding, this gorgeous pair decided to get dressed up and celebrate with a stunning portrait session by their photographer, Sara Noah Photography.
We've seen the rising popularity of the micro-wedding. Many couples are opting to have mini-celebrations in lieu of their big wedding day and postponing their grand event into the next year. We love this alternative - an intimate portrait session to commemorate what would've been your wedding day.
"We decided to to something to celebrate what would have been our wedding day and to support some of the amazing vendors who were also greatly affected by the pandemic. As we are both wedding photographers, it made perfect sense to organize a photoshoot!"
For Livi and Dan, this day was extra special. The couple dawned their wedding attire, clinked glasses and had a beautiful photoshoot along with their sweet baby girl, Indie.
Since the couple's would-be wedding session, their adorable pooch has passed away. Please accept our sincere condolences, Livi and Dan! Rest in Puppy Paradise, Indie.
"Our look was inspired by a mixture of classic Hollywood glam and vintage 1940’s designs. I wore a beautiful vintage inspired dress (which reminded me of something Lauren Bacall would wear) and Dan wore a sharp tailored suit" Livi explains. This gorgeous theme carries into the setting, floral design and even the design of Livi's ring! We love the subtle nods to vintage and classic, while still feeling fresh and modern.
About the Photographer: "Sara Noah Photography is based out of the happy, little town of Dundas, Ontario (a community within Hamilton). Owner & lead photographer Sara is a wedding & lifestyle photographer with a fondness for capturing love stories and illustrating them through bright, emotive imagery."
